Rising 2nd Grade

Welcome to 2nd Grade!

The Douglas County School System invites parents to help their rising second grade students prepare with these fun resources. Students are encouraged to practice reading, writing, and math each day AND to choose at least one other subject to practice. Many of the activities are short. They will ALL help prepare your child. Record what you do each day on a calendar or list them on a log like THIS ONE, and save it to show your child's second grade teacher what he/she worked on all summer. Stay well, and HAPPY LEARNING!
