Student Expectations & Classroom Norms
Come to class on time. If the door has closed, you are late and will need to log on via the tardy link and enter your tardy.
Begin the warm up activity as soon as you arrive.
Attend to personal needs before coming to class. Bathroom passes will not be issued during the first 15 or last 15 minutes of class.
Remain in your assigned seat unless you have permission to get up.
No candy, drinks, or other food in class, unless given special permission. Water is allowed.
Bring required materials (charged Chromebook) every day, unless you are otherwise directed.
Talk only when permitted. Please raise your hand and wait to be acknowledged.
Cheating will not be tolerated.
Follow the teacher’s directions immediately. (ALL DRILLS, i.e., fire, bomb threat, lockdown (possible intruder, or other special situations)
BE RESPECTFUL!
Dress code will be enforced. No hoodies, no bonnets, no hats, no holes above the knee, no mini skirts, no leggings, no bodysuits, biker shorts. These are just a few. Refer to the student handbook for questions and more in depth dress code description.
NO CELL PHONE USE PERMITTED IN THE CLASSROOM FOR ANY REASON UNLESS DIRECTED TO DO SO!!!!!!!
Plagiarism Policy: If you are caught plagiarizing, you will receive an automatic zero (0) on the assignment and parents will be notified. Make sure your work is your own!
