I am excited to be teaching Biology at Alexander High School, where I am committed to fostering a love for science in my students. My academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree from Liberty University, followed by a Master's degree from Shorter University. Currently, I am pursuing my Doctoral degree, furthering my passion for education and scientific inquiry.
My dedication to the Alexander High School community is unwavering. I believe in creating an inclusive and dynamic classroom environment where every student can thrive.
Family time is precious to me, and I cherish moments with my husband, Jordan, our daughter Lila, and our rescue dog, Cooper. Being a Douglasville native, I have a deep connection with the community, a sentiment passed down from my parents who met at Douglas County High School.
Jordan and I had the unique opportunity to live in Oahu, Hawaii, during his service as a Corpsman in the U.S. NAVY, where our daughter was born. Returning to Douglasville after his service felt like coming home. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the Douglas County School System, teaching in the county that built me.
