Mission
The mission of Mason Creek Middle School's Counseling Department is to engage all students through a data-driven comprehensive counseling program. We advocate for all students to reach their full potential by creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that fosters academic, personal, and career growth. Using evidence-based strategies and developmentally appropriate curriculum, we deliver relevant learning opportunities through classroom, small group, and individual counseling. By partnering with students, families, staff, and the community, we strive to equip all students with the skills and knowledge needed to become their best selves.
Mason Creek Middle School graduates are self-aware, motivated, and compassionate individuals equipped with resilience and adaptability to thrive in a complex and ever-changing 21st century global community. Our alumni will demonstrate emotional intelligence, cultural competence, and social awareness as they develop into positive, productive, and well-adjusted citizens. As lifelong learners, they will embrace personal growth, embody responsible leadership, and be independent thinkers who contribute meaningfully to their communities.
All career and technical education programs follow the DCSS BOE’s policy of nondiscrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, and disability in all programs, services, activities, and employment. In addition, arrangements can be made to ensure that the lack of English language proficiency is not a barrier to admission or participation.
