LSES would like to invite parents, family members, and community members to join our Parent Advisory Committee (PAC). It is a proven fact that children strive to do better when their parents/family members are involved/engaged both at home and at school. Because of this proven fact, we hope to create a cohesive committee that can work together to help each child reach their fullest potential.

The Role of the Parental Involvement Advisory Council:

• Act as an advocate for the Parent Involvement Program

• Attend the Advisory Council Meetings (3 times a year)

• To help enrich the education of our children by providing ideas and resources.

• To provide an open forum in which ideas and suggestions beneficial to students may be discussed.

• Help review and revise:

o School Policy

o School Compacts

o LEA Policy

o 1% Set Aside funds for Family Engagement

o Staff Development/Title I Yearly Parent Survey
