Hello, I am Ms. Meekins & I am an alumna of Cheyney University with a strong family legacy in education that spans generations, from my great-grandmother to my mother. With my three years of experience working with children, I am deeply passionate about fostering curiosity and growth in young learners. I take pride in creating supportive, engaging environments where students can thrive and experience those pivotal “light bulb” moments of discovery. Beyond my dedication to education, I enjoy cooking, painting, and practicing Pilates, which reflect in my creativity and commitment to balance in my life.

Hello Discovery Families! We are the 2nd grade team and we cannot wait to work with the students this year! Two of our teachers, Ms. Fattrosso and Ms. Meekin, are new to Discovery this year. They each bring their own unique experience to the Discovery community. Ms. Bowers is entering her fourth year at Discovery continuing to be an important member of the team. Together, we hope to create an amazing second grade year !
