Hi Everyone! My name is Tiara Stowe. I am from Philadelphia, born & raised. I obtained my teaching degree from Indiana University of PA. I have been an educator since 2016. This will be my third year teaching 4th grade at Discovery Charter. I am currently pursuing my Master's in Education in graduate school. My mission as an educator is to instill security and confidence in my class while giving them a safe space. I am thrilled to welcome your scholar to our 4th-grade class this year. I look forward to working together with you as partners in your child’s growth and development!

My teaching philosophy is structured around the qualities of a passionate educator. It is essential to create a safe, purposeful, nurturing learning environment for all students inside and outside the classroom. As an educator, I strive to be empathic and compassionate to the needs of my students, while still being able to meet their individual educational needs on their educational journey. I’ve been able to build positive relationships, which established the ability to nurture the social-emotional development while making positive connections daily with each student.
