MRS. PRICE-LACEY

Welcome all!

Shayonna Price-Lacey is an enthusiastic and dedicated first-year math teacher at Discovery Charter School. With a degree in Mathematics and English Language Arts from Temple University, I am very pleased and excited to meet this year students. I am committed to making math accessible and engaging for all students. I employ a variety of innovative teaching methods and real-world applications to help students develop both, their problem-solving skills and their confidence in math. I  believe in creating a supportive and interactive classroom environment, where every student feels valued and inspired to reach their full potential. 

My goal is to instill a lifelong love for learning and critical thinking in my students. Preparing students for success both, academically and in their future endeavors will create a world filled with students who are confident and ready to achieve any obstacle in their way!
