Hi families!  Welcome to our classroom website! My name is Ms. Bojana Muratovic, and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year!

I have always had a passion for teaching and nurturing young minds. I hold an Honorary Bachelor’s degree from Rosemont College in Elementary Education and am currently pursuing my Reading Specialist Master’s Degree in the M.Ed. program at Holy Family University to further enhance my skills and knowledge. With 8 years of teaching experience, I have developed a strong belief in the power of education and its ability to transform lives.

I believe that every child is unique and complex, and there is no such thing as a bad kid. They have the potential to learn at a high level and grow in a supportive, safe, and nurturing environment. My teaching philosophy centers around creating an inclusive classroom where every student feels valued and encouraged to wholly express themselves. I aim to foster a love for learning by making lessons engaging, interactive, and relevant to the students' lives outside the classroom.  We will work together to develop creativity and higher order thinking skills.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending my time immersed in nonfiction books, which provide endless opportunities for learning and growth. I also love walking, which helps me stay active and appreciate the beauty of nature. Music is another passion of mine, particularly deep house music, which adds rhythm and joy to my life.

I believe that open and transparent communication between teachers, students, and parents is crucial for a successful school year.
