You can be a Sequoyah Standout, Classics Clubber, Genre Genius, or Fact Finder by reading the required books (see below). You can also review books for our library website to become a Creek Critiquer.
Fill in this Google Form each time you finish a book so you can earn the awards! Medals will be awarded in May.
Listed below are the requirements for each level:
BRONZE LEVEL - Read three books from the current Intermediate Sequoyah list
SILVER LEVEL - Read six books from the current Intermediate Sequoyah list
GOLD LEVEL - Read ten books from the current Intermediate Sequoyah list
BRONZE LEVEL - Read three classics or six Great Illustrated Classics
SILVER LEVEL - Read six classics or twelve Great Illustrated Classics
GOLD LEVEL - Read eight classics or sixteen Great Illustrated Classics
Genres to choose from are: Science fiction, fantasy, realistic fiction, historical fiction, mystery, action/adventure, horror/paranormal, non-fiction, biography/autobiography, dystopian, romance, humor, sports
BRONZE LEVEL - Read books from four different genres
SILVER LEVEL - Read books from seven different genres
GOLD LEVEL - Read books from ten different genres

Non-fiction books must be fact-based (remember that fairy tales, mythology, and other traditional literature may be found in the non-fiction section of the library, but they are not fact-based); Biographies and autobiographies are acceptable for this award as well
BRONZE LEVEL - Read four non-fiction books
SILVER LEVEL - Read six non-fiction books
GOLD LEVEL - Read nine non-fiction books
This award is presented to any student who earns a gold medal in all five library award categories. It was created in April 2019 when we had our first winner. Since then, we've had a total of 11 winners! Do you have what it takes to earn gold in all five categories?
