My name is Caitlin Lazo, and I am so excited to be a 4th-grade teacher at Wildcat Mountain. As a teacher, I aim to spark the zeal for lifelong learning and help students build resiliency and perseverance to overcome challenges. I came to teaching as a second profession; my husband and I founded and operated an internet-based printing company for professional photographers. We were fortunate enough to sell our business eight years ago.
I grew up mainly in California but have called Colorado home for the last 15 years. My husband and I have two boys, Ryland (a sophomore at Rock Canyon), Bryce (a 6th grader at Rocky Heights), and our puppies, Bella and Maggie. In our free time, we love traveling and exploring new places. I also love to train for marathons and triathlons by running, biking, and swimming in this beautiful state.
