Welcome to Cougar Run's Learning Commons, my home away from home! I am going on my 23rd year as a Librarian and my 13th year at Cougar Run and still love it! I am very passionate about helping children learn to love reading and explore all sorts of informational research so they can build their own knowledge and become a life long learner!  

I am a 4th generation Colorado native and live in Castle Rock with my wonderful husband of 34 years and our 2 German Shepherds, Remington & Barrett.  We have 2 grown children that we love to spend time with! As well as, our 4 year old Grandpup, Daisy Mae! I am a Grandma (Gma) to our adorable 3 yr old grandson, Colton. I absolutely love being a "Gma" and lucky to spend the whole day with him every Friday. 

I love to hike, camp, garden and enjoy drinking Starbucks and reading new children's books! 

During the school year, my mind is running 100mph planning fun and exciting educational events and reading celebrations for Cougar Run students. I love helping kids find their imagination through literature and collaborating with our teaching staff on their special units of study! 

I am looking forward to another magical year at Cougar Run!
