VALE Financial Aid Night

This event is open to all grade level families.
Senior Financial Aid Director, Richard Linsacum will be presenting on FAFSA, CAFSA, COF, Scholarships and other ways to pay for college.
A new student essay contest on economics launched by the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation.
The deadline for submissions is 3 weeks away: September 10.
The prizes are generous:
$10,000 for first place in each division (one division for high school students, another for undergraduates)
$5,000 for second place
$1,000 for every finalist, with up to 10 finalists chosen in each division
The Coolidge Foundation also sponsors the Coolidge Scholarship, a four-year, full-ride college scholarship to which you have alerted your students in the past.

Emory University has just announced Emory Advantage Plus, a landmark expansion of our financial commitment. Starting in Fall 2026, all domestic undergraduates with assessed family incomes of $200,000 or less will pay $0 in tuition.
This applies to students applying to Emory College, Oxford College, or both, and to our returning undergraduates who are already enrolled.
Key info for your students and families:
$0 tuition for eligible families with assessed income under $200K.
Available to new and returning domestic undergraduates who are eligible for federal financial aid.
No separate application, just submit FAFSA + CSS Profile.
Emory will also continue to meet 100% of demonstrated need for all domestic undergraduate students.
The Office of Financial Aid will provide additional information about the new full-tuition program later this year.
Emory Advantage Plus makes it easier for talented students to choose Emory, without the weight of tuition debt.
