Timber Trail Elementary Mental Health Supports

Hello Wonderful TTE Families!

If you did not get a chance to tune into the DCSD Parent Night with Nick Thompson that addresses helping our students cope during the pandemic there is good news! A recording of the presentation has been created and I have linked it to the bottom of this message. I cannot encourage you enough to check it out. He offers great insight on how to connect with our children, help them develop their self awareness, self-efficacy, and ultimately how to guide our children to independence. Parent Presentation

Hello TTE!

I miss seeing you all every day, and I hope to see you all again soon! In the meantime, I have collaborated with the amazing counselor from Buffalo Ridge Elementary as well as the counselors at South Ridge Elementary to create this website in order for me to stay connected with you. I have a SEL @ Home page, which includes daily mini social-emotional lessons, and I have linked some online social-emotional learning resources for you to try out. Also, the SEL @ Home page has a drop-down menu with three additional pages; the first is the Wellness Challenge with daily challenges for you to complete, the second is Boredom Busters and Virtual Field Trips, and the third is information regarding COVID19. The last page is the Resources page. I hope you find this to be a helpful resource for you during this time. I can't wait to be back to school and see all of your smiling faces! Take care of yourself and each other!!
