Welcome to 6th grade, I am so excited for this school year.  Here is a little bit about me...

I was born and raised in Agoura Hills, Ca and moved to Colorado with my husband almost 24 years ago.  My whole family soon followed and now my parents and my sisters and brother live in Colorado.  I got my B.A. from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and my teaching license from Cal Lutheran University.  I have taught kindergarten, 4th, and 5th grade and have been a substitute teacher for the last 8 years at Heritage.  I have 2 daughters, Reagan (20) and Kendall (18) that both went to Heritage.  They are now students at Ole Miss and KU.  I have always loved Heritage since the time my girls were students here so to be able to be a classroom teacher here is so exciting.  We also have a very spoiled white golden retriever named Harper.  My girls and I love Disneyland and DisneyWorld (my husband Lee says he put his time in with Disney and now is done).  I am a stong believer in open communication between not just me and my students but with me and parents so please don't hestiate to reach out with any questions or concerns.  It is going to be a great year in 6th grade, I can't wait!
