Jessica Cottrell (Early Childhood Instructor)

My name is Jessica Cottrell and I am the Preschool Teacher. I will be in the classroom everyday. My role is too oversee the classroom as a whole including all children in the classroom.

A little bit about me... This will be my 6th year at Summit View. I love the school and staff. This will be my 9th year in Early Childhood Education. I have been working with children of all ages for the past 12 years; from 5th grade down to babies. I am originally from Washington State and have lived in the Denver Metro area for almost 9 years. I love watching basketball and football. I enjoy crafting and reading. (In my spare time of course) :)

I am excited to work with your children and your family. It's going to be another great year of FUN and LEARNING.

Lisa Kolber (Special Education Assistant SPED EA)

My name is Lisa Kolber, this is my first year as a SPED EA in preschool at Summit View Elementary. I have worked many different positions in the Douglas County schools for the past 10 years. I have been working with children for 25 years. I have three grown children of my own, two recent college graduates and my youngest is a Junior at CSU. I am from New York. My background is business and I worked for the Wall Street Journal in New York City for 10 years. I am celebrating 29 years of marriage, ( in two weeks), to a great guy! I enjoy spending time with family, friends and my dog, traveling, running, hiking, climbing 14ers, camping, tubing, kayaking and skiing. I really enjoy working with preschoolers because I love watching them learn through play. I love their curiosity and the cute things they do and say!
