Peer Mediators are student leaders who receive training in positive problem-solving, conflict resolution, and effective communication strategies. Through this leadership opportunity, students develop valuable personal, interpersonal, and social-emotional skills while serving as positive role models within our school community.
Throughout the school year, Peer Mediators support students during their recess time by helping foster positive interactions and encouraging respectful communication. Each mediator is assigned to work with one grade level, Kindergarten through 3rd grade, providing consistent support and building meaningful connections.
Students will be trained to be Peer Mediators during our SLT meeting time.
Students will participate in Peer Mediators once a week.
