Welcome to 2025-26 Palomino Science!

I am so excited to be your science teacher this year and to welcome you to Team Palomino! I’ve been teaching since 2008 and have been part of Douglas County Schools since 2015.

My husband and I moved to Colorado from Wisconsin in 2010 and quickly fell in love with Parker, where we chose to raise our family. We have three boys, all of whom will be attending Cimarron one day! Our weekends are usually filled with sports—cheering them on as they play baseball, basketball, and football.

Middle school science has always been my passion, and I can’t wait to pass that love of science on to you. This year, we’ll dive into exciting units in Earth, Life, and Physical Science. We’ll explore topics such as genetics, space, weather, energy, and the nature of science—and so much more!

Get ready for a fun, engaging, and hands-on year of discovery. I can’t wait to get started!
