Mrs. Dahlgren

My name is Meggan Dahlgren and I am so excited to start of my second year at Cougar Run.  I have worked in DCSD for 11 years.

I fell in love with speech and language development when one of my children received early intervention services. I went back to school to study speech and language ultimately earning my master's degree from CU-Boulder.  I have been in the speech and language field as a student, parent, and a teacher. 

I have twin daughters who are blazing new paths as young adults.  We have two dogs, Gemi and LuLu.  Gemi is named for the Gemini lift at Winter Park and LuLu for the Lupin run at Mary Jane. Our family, dogs included, loves hanging out in the mountains. Originally from Chicagoland, we are still in awe of the majestic Rocky Mountains even after 14 years in Colorado. I love Star Wars as much today as I did when I was in elementary school!  I enjoy board games, reading great books while sipping on hot coffee/tea, hiking, and movie nights with popcorn (our dogs especially love the popcorn).
