Hello! My name is Brenna Tripp and I am the American History teacher on Team Summit! This is my fifth year of teaching and second year at Sierra. 

In this class, we will cover United States History from 1492 to around 1877. Some topics include the Columbian Exchange, the American Revolution, the Constitution, Westward Expansion, and the Civil War. Within these topics, we will also look at the social, political, and economic factors that played a part in our country’s history. 

Throughout the year, students will work both independently and collaboratively through activities such as gallery walks, simulations, games, and much more. I'm excited to go through this learning process with everyone!
