Battle of the Books
School Competition: Tuesday, May 7, 2024, during Advisory
@ Sierra Middle School's Library Media Center
Participants need to provide their own transportation to and from the district competition.
The LMC @ Sierra Middle School will be hosting Battle of the Books (BoB) 2nd semester.
The purpose of a Battle of the Books is to encourage reading through a friendly, quick-action, competition. Teams of five students compete against each other in a quiz-bowl-type competition. Students and Librarians across the district will create the questions for the battle as they are reading the books. The winning teams (up to two) from Sierra will compete against the following middle schools:
