Speech and Language

Mrs. Behling has worked as both a clinic and school-based SLP since 2009 and has been with Douglas County School District since 2017. She earned a BS in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences from The University of Colorado-Boulder and a MS in Speech-Language Pathology from Texas Woman’s University. Laura has experience working with children with Autism, receptive/expressive language disorders, articulation impairments, Down syndrome, hearing loss/impairments, stuttering and social communication delays. Additionally, she enjoys working with AAC devices and loves that technology is providing her students to have a “voice” within the classroom and in their everyday lives. Laura loves all that Colorado has to offer and is often found outside exploring this wonderful state with her two children, husband and Bernese Mountain Dog, Harvey.
