I will be responsible for bringing my own device each day, taking care to avoid damage and storing it in a secure place when not being used.
I will bring a charged device and a charger daily.
I will follow the Douglas County School District Board of Education Policy, and school guidelines around acceptable use of technology.
I will only use words, pictures, videos, or music that are school appropriate.
I will respect the digital devices of others and will be responsible for any damage I cause to another person’s device.
I will have respectful interactions with classmates and teachers when using all types of online communication (email, Google Docs, Google Classroom, apps, etc.)
I will respect the rights of my fellow students and their work online, published or otherwise.
I will respect all devices by using them correctly, leaving all identifiers in tact including bar codes and stickers, and taking care not to damage any device.
I will be aware of my digital footprint.
I will NOT participate in cyberbullying.
I will follow copyright laws and cite sources appropriately.
I will not share personal information online including passwords, phone numbers, gender, home address, etc.
I will use my device when it is the right time and the right place.
I will stay on task and appropriately work on any device at school.
I will stand against cyberbullying or harassment.
I will help others when their device is not working or has broken.
I will respect other’s right to privacy by not accessing their online spaces without invitation.
I will avoid websites and apps that are disrespectful to others because they show people behaving inappropriately. I will abide by the DCSD Harassment Policy.
I will report threatening or uncomfortable materials to a teacher or an administrator immediately.
