26/27 Battle of the Books

Important information:

Weekly Meetings starting the first week in October. Meetings will be before school on either Mondays or Thursdays (we are trying to work around orchestra)

Reading Requirement-All participants must read all 10 assigned books in order to compete

Teamwork/Behavior expectations- You must be a good teammate and work together to succeed. Our team will be representing our school at feeder and possibly district level competitions. We must follow behavior guidelines outlined in the Battle of the Books Contract.

Regretfully we can only accept 10 participants on each team. We will select participants by quality of the application, time of submission, and teacher input about their ability to keep up with the rigor and behavior expectations.

We also need to apply to the Douglas County Library on October 1st for a spot to compete, so there is a chance we will not get in. We will not know if we get to compete until sometime after October 1st.
