Morgan Policies and Expectations
Families and Students:
Please read these policies and expectations and complete the assignment in Google Classroom. This is a work habits' grade for Advisement and is due August 24th. Please see the grading rubric on the Google Form. Thank you for helping us conserve paper!
Thanks,
Team Morgan Teachers
Late Work
Students have a two-week grace period to turn in late work for credit. Work habits grade will be affected. This will change as the year progresses and students are given more responsibility.
Absences
When students are absent, they should:
Check teachers' websites and Google Classroom to locate assignments, worksheets, agendas, and/or work missed.
Then see us for further clarification, if needed. We're more than happy to help!
Reading Books
Students are required to have a reading book (electronic or paper) with them at all times. Electronic books need to be on tablets or e-readers, not phones.
Phones
Phones, headphones, earbuds, etc. should be turned off and stored in student backpacks upon entering the classroom. If a student has a specific question concerning phones, please ask them to come talk with their Advisement teacher.
Planner
Students are expected to write down homework assignments and upcoming due dates for tests/quizzes and projects. Planners should be brought to class each day.
Retake Policy
Students may have the opportunity to retake certain content knowledge tests/quizzes. This is at the teacher's discretion. Student should speak to the teacher of the class where a retake is needed to set up a retake opportunity.
