When I am not teaching, you can find me spending time outdoors with my husband, son, and daughter. My son is an energetic fourth grader, my daughter is a loving third grader, and my wonderful husband is a firefighter. They bring me so much joy, and push me to become a better version of myself daily.

In addition to spending time with my sweet family, I truly enjoy camping, hiking, fly-fishing, traveling, paddle boarding, going to my son's hockey games, attending my daughter's figure skating competitions, and reading. My family and I live in Castle Rock where my husband and I attended middle and high school. Yes, I did grow up in Douglas County and graduated from Douglas County High School, so I am very familiar with how fortunate we are to be part of such an incredible community.

Please know that I value my relationship with every student and parent. I want our year to be a very positive experience for everyone. I love teaching and truly feel that there is no finer way to spend my day than with a group of children. I look forward to a wonderful and fun-filled school year!

Something fun you might like to know about me: if money were unlimited, I would become a full time student as my permanent job. I love learning!
