We are all working to adjust to the changes in our way of life right now. Sometimes taking a little time to check in on our Social Emotional Wellbeing can help. I'll add a new opportunity for families and students to this page each week. Please reach out if you are struggling or need additional support! We are all in this together, and it takes a village! <3

Let’s talk about problems!
Have a family discussion about problems you have dealt with in the past. What do you do with a problem? How do we deal with problems in different ways? How do others in our lives deal with problems in ways that differ from us?; How do the author and illustrator work together to create a compelling story? What symbols do they use to convey their message? How can we see opportunity the problem of our current situation?

What do you notice about the fables you’re reading?
What does the moral mean? Why were the particular animals used in the fable you read? Would the fable work with other animals, which ones, why or why not? Can you think of a time you felt like one of the animals in the story? What did you learn from your experience? Do you agree with the moral, why or why not?
