About Mrs. Geraci
Hi, I am Ros Geraci, and I am the new Sustainability Teacher here at Heritage Elementary. I have been with Heritage for a little over 1 yr as an Education Assistant and have just recently moved into the Sustainability role and really look forward to working with the kids.
I think Sustainability is a really important part of school, as it provides the students with some extra outdoor time where there can explore the garden, get hands on with the gardens beds, dirt, mulch etc, have some practical time planting and where they can interact with our chickens if they want.
I look forward to the rest of the school year and the exciting things that are planned for our students when they are in Sustainability.
A little bit about me. I am from Australia and have been in Denver for 3 years. I feel that Colorado is the right place for my family right now, we moved here because of my husbands work. I do miss the ocean but we have embraced the mountains and have learnt how to ski and snowboard. When I am not at school I love spending time with my family, I have 3 kids, 2 boys in middle school and 1 daughter in Elementary. Im either dropping them off somewhere or going to an activity. I also have 2 dogs. We love everything outdoors, going on hikes, walking the gorgeous trails or even just shooting hoops.
