Meet Mrs. Hinrichs

Hi!

My name is Kristin Hinrichs (pronounced Hine-rich) and I am so excited to be at Pine Lane Elementary! I am originally from Colorado and just recently relocated from Silver Spring, Maryland where I taught transitional kindergarten through eighth grade art for 11 years.  Before that I was in Orlando, Florida, where I taught elementary art for two years.  I attended college in Winter Park, Florida where I studied art history and went on to achieve certification in art PreK-12th Grade. 

Though I was born in Wheat Ridge, at the age of 10 I moved to Cairo Egypt.  I attended 5th-12th grade there and graduated at the base of the pyramids! I love to travel and hike and explore local coffee shops.  My husband and I have been married since 2008 and together we have two children, Jackson and Holly. We also have a 15-year-old pug named Boo.

I look forward to an amazing year at Pine Lane Elementary!
