Hello! 

My name is Marjorie Wellen. I am fortunate to be able to say that I have spent my entire teaching carrier here at Pine Lane Elementary (PLE). My adventure in teaching began back in January of 2005 with completing my student teaching at PLE. By mid June, I was offered a 6th grade teaching position and have been here ever since! After 17 years of teaching 6th grade, I embarked on a new exciting teaching opportunity at Pine Lane as an interventionist. This new role has allowed me to work with students across grade levels. I love working with all students. I can't wait for another great year!

Outside of school, I am a busy mom of twin girls. My husband, children, and I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, fishing, camping, paddle boarding, and riding our bikes. 

I am so thankful for the opportunities I have and am excited to work with a dynamic group of students each year. Watching students learn, grow, and push themselves in new ways is what I work for every day!
