Meet Mrs. Donohue!

My name is Allison Donohue, and I am so happy to serve as a first-grade teacher! I am incredibly proud to be a part of the Pine Lane Elementary community. My journey here actually started during the 2016–2017 school year, when I completed the Boettcher Teacher Residency Program right here at Pine Lane!

My Educational Background

I love learning, and I am always looking for ways to grow as an educator. My educational journey includes:

• Bachelor’s Degree from West Virginia University

• Master’s Degree from Indiana University

• Master's Degree from Adams State University (December 2017)

• Education Specialist Degree from Northwest Missouri State University (May 2026)

Before becoming a teacher, I worked in healthcare. I have truly enjoyed transitioning into the wonderful world of education!

Outside the Classroom

My husband, Dan, and our daughter, Maggie, share my love for the outdoors. When I am not teaching, you can usually find us hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, canoeing, camping, and exploring Colorado’s beautiful landmarks!

Maggie is also busy with her own studies—she will be heading back to college this fall for her junior year.
