My name is Caraline Dunlevy, and I am so excited to be joining Pine Grove this year as the school psychologist on Thursdays! While this is my first year at Pine Grove, I have had the privilege of working in the district for the past two years and am thrilled to now be part of such an amazing team of mental health providers.
In my role, I have the opportunity to support students in a variety of ways, including individual check-ins, small groups, and collaboration with teachers and families. Areas of focus often include building social skills and friendships, developing coping strategies, practicing self-regulation, and supporting students through transitions or changes.
I truly look forward to getting to know our students and families this year. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns about how we can best support your child here at Pine Grove!
School Psychologist
Hello Students and Families! I hope you are doing well. I'm excited to note that I have been at PGE for eleven years! (I really can't believe that.)
Our work continues with us at school together and learning the skills to be a successful student and friend. I will continue to provide direct services through scheduled small group and individual session. Please contact me via email with any questions, concerns or comments.
Health & Wellness Teacher
Hello, I’m happy to be part of this educational journey with Pine Grove students and families this year! In our ever-changing world, giving more attention to our social-emotional wellness is a gift that will support overall self awareness, self-management and overall academic performance. Throughout my 30 years of teaching and working with students, teachers, parents, and support staff, my goal is to help students know themselves, build positive behaviors, social skills, relationships, and character. This will lead them to become life-long learners and positive community members!
Each student at Pine Grove will participate in a half hour a week of “wellness lessons” during the “Specials Plus” rotations. In these classroom experiences, each student has the opportunity to explore wellness through the lens of mindfulness, emotional awareness, self-awareness, and overall self-management. Topics will include building a growth mindset, empathy, kindness, and problem-solving. This will be explored through curriculums such as Second Step, Mind-Up, Zones of Regulation, Wayfinder and Sources of Strength.
