Evaluate your Worries:
Write down at least one thing you are worried about right now.
Then think is this something I have control over? Can I change this?
Then write down 2 to 3 things you can control that is related to your worry.
Talk to family member about your worry
If you are still feeling worried try making a Worry Doll or Worry Stone
Set a short term goal:
Write down goal that you can work towards while you are learning from home!
I am going to practice my Free Throw to improve my Basketball skills by trying to make 10 Free Throw in a row.
I am going to practice my drawing skills by spending 30 min a day working on it.
Track your progress!
Think about a time where grounding could have helped you when you were feeling out of contol.
Write down how grounding can help you in those moments.
Tell a family member about grounding and ask if they have ever used it.
