My preferred communication is always with the student. I invite students with concerns to bring those to me as soon as possible. I will provide students with a safe (and confidential) environment to share concerns in a productive two-way conversation.
This is not to say that I am not open to parent communication. I welcome all parent questions and conversations. Email is always the best way to initiate contact with me. I am happy to set up phone calls or video conferences, but an initial email is the most reliable.
I will frequently respond to emails within the hour. However, my schedule is unpredictable and chaotic at time. Please allow time for a response from me. I can generally respond within one school day.
