Poetry Contest
Write a poem about an animal that has positively impacted your life. The animal does not have to be a family pet. It can be any animal that you have connected with at any point in your life.

Must be legible (preferably typed)
School appropriate
2-page maximum
Submit a copy of your poem to your school librarian and Mrs. Yarcho (dyarcho@dcsdk12.org) by October 6th
Option: Students can write their poems within these animal prints/tracks or use your school's mascot if it's an animal.
Students will have the opportunity to read their poems at the OBOD community event on 11/11/23 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
