What's New!

Juniors -There will be a Free Practice ACT on Wednesday, October 13th from 7:30-11 AM (for those not taking the PSAT/NMSQT). This test will be given by Princeton Review in a large group setting with traditional testing time (no extended time or accommodations available). THIS IS OPTIONAL and there will be a special bell schedule that day to accommodate testing in the morning. You must register for this test through Princeton Review.

Juniors - The PSAT/NMSQT will be given on Wednesday, October 13th. This is an OPTIONAL test with a cost of $20. This test may be used as a practice test and may qualify students for the National Merit Scholarship Competition (top 1% of test-takers nationwide) as well as for Summer Scientific Workshops for the Academies. Many schools and states (including Colorado) are going test-optional permanently, so do some research about schools your student is interested in before you spend a lot of stress and resources on testing. If your student is interested in taking the PSAT/NMSQT you may sign up HERE and pay the fee on My School Bucks. There is a free study guide in the counseling office - please have your student come pick this up.

Seniors - do you have questions on how to apply to college? Stop by one of our College Application Help Sessions - During SOAR Sept 30th, Oct 14th, and Oct 28th between 8-9 AM in the Library. Our amazing counselors will be available to help you through the process.

And don't forget about COLORADO FREE APPLICATION DAYS October 19th-21st. Apply to Colorado colleges for free! Click here for the details and a list of participating colleges!

Check out the virtual Greater Denver College Fair on September 28th, 29th, and 30th from 5 - 7:45 p.m. Just like last year, colleges will be grouped together and students and parents can sign up for different sessions. There will also be Information Sessions available. LINK TO THE EVENT
