The process begins with a screening of all students in all classrooms so that interventions to promote student growth and learning may be implemented for those students determined to need additional support or enrichment.
Teams utilize data from a variety of sources to guide decision making. Specifically, classroom assessments, standardized assessments, observations, and input from team members are considered when determining if a student requires supplemental support for either academic or behavioral reasons.
