My name is Sarah Ruminski and I am so happy to be your child's Kindergarten teacher this year! This is my sixth year at Iron Horse, and my tenth year teaching. I have taught all primary grade levels (Kindergarten-2nd Grade), but Kindergarten is where my heart belongs. I am so excited to watch your child learn and grow this year! 

I was born in California, but moved to Colorado Springs with my family when I was in Kindergarten. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2016 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and and emphasis in Elementary Education. My husband and I welcomed our daughter, Rory, in August of 2024 and we all live in Centennial  with our six year old golden retriever, Ivy! 

I love movies and film, reading, puzzles, spending time with family and friends, playing with Ivy, and teaching early learners!
