My name is Shelby Hoffmann and I am so excited to work with you and your child this year! This will be my second year at GRE, but my 8th year teaching. I have taught 1st grade for five years and 2nd grade for two years. I was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado and I'm grateful to be back in the community I grew up in.
I graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2018 with my Elementary Education Bachelor's degree. I then completed my Master's degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Reading during 2021 from Northcentral University.
I like to spend my time hiking in the spring/summer, snowboarding in the winter, and exploring Colorado with my friends. I also enjoy going to Arkansas to see my family.
I am dedicated to creating a positive and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Throughout the year, we will be covering a variety of exciting topics and exploring new concepts in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. I am committed to fostering a love for learning in each child and providing them with the support and encouragement they need to succeed.
Thank you for entrusting me with the privilege of teaching your child. I am excited about the year ahead and getting to know each of you and your children better.
