Greetings! 8th grade Language Arts promises new challenges and a plethora of fun! Students will curate their reading, writing, and speaking skills aided by the StudySync curriculum.
Focus: Literature comprehension and analysis, poetry, creative writing, argumentative/informational writing, speech and debate, academic research, formal style, and proper grammar usage.
Full novel studies: The Outsiders by S.E Hinton and Maus II by Art Spiegelman.
Students will be provided with workbooks and access to the StudySync website.
