Mrs. Schnepp

Welcome to third grade!  I hope you all had an amazing summer and are ready to start our third grade adventures together! It is going to be a great school year. I truly love teaching and having the opportunity to work with children. Getting to know my students personally and building strong relationships with each student is the foundation for our classroom and all our learning. Together we will set high expectations, grow as learners, and focus on responsibility, accountability, and respect to all.  I value strong parent communication and partnership, and I look forward to working with you in order to create a strong, safe, and engaging environment where your student enjoys learning! 

I was born and raised here in beautiful Colorado.  My wonderful husband James, and I have two amazing children: Gwen (11) and Eric (9).  We love going on new adventures as a family and seeing our children grow in their extra curricular fun: karate, dance, ballet, swim, and baseball.  I love to travel, shop, read, camp, and attempt my many swings at golf.

I have been an educator since 2001.  I began my teaching career in Jefferson County teaching grades 3,4, and 5, and RTI interventionist grades 3, 5, and 6.  I am excited to be returning to Cougar Run and this wonderful community.
