Hello! My name is Erin Perlman, and I’m so excited to be teaching 6th grade this year at Arrowwood! After two amazing years co-teaching 4th grade with the incredible Mrs. Steadman, I’m thrilled to be starting this new chapter—and even more excited for another year of learning, growth, and fun.
I bring a variety of teaching experiences to the classroom, including time in preschool and serving as a substitute teacher across nearly every grade level. My journey at Arrowwood began as a substitute and later as a 6th-grade Instructional Aide, which makes this return to 6th grade feel especially meaningful. I’m passionate about creating a classroom environment where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired—and I love learning alongside them every step of the way.
Outside of school, I love spending time with my wonderful family. My husband, Justin, and I moved to Colorado from California 14 years ago, and we’ve loved building our lives here. We have two awesome boys, Wyatt and Lucas, who keep us on our toes and fill our days with energy and laughter.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll likely find me outside—whether it's hiking, snowboarding, playing or watching sports, waterskiing, or enjoying a spontaneous road trip. I also love trying new foods and spending quality time with friends and family.
I’m so grateful to reconnect with familiar faces and get to know new students and families this year. Here’s to an incredible year of growth, connection, and memorable moments in 6th grade!
