Like seashells, we are all unique with our own stories to tell.
Welcome to Kindergarten!
MEET YOUR TEACHER
Welcome to a new and exciting year in KINDERGARTEN! I hope your summer was fantastic, and I bet you are as excited as I am to begin our new learning adventure! Kindergarten is an amazing new chapter for your child and you! Together we will learn and grow both academically. socially and emotionally. Thank you for letting me be part of this new journey.
Let me begin by telling you a sharing about myself and my family. I have loved teaching for over 25 years! I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska and a Master of Arts Degree in Diverse Learners in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix and I am also an adjunct professor for the University of Northern Colorado in early childhood education. I love learning and continue to take classes throughout the summer and school year to keep expanding my learning journey! My husband Dave and I have been married for over 30 years, and we have a fantastic daughter Emmi, who graduated this summer from the University of Oregon (Go DUCKS!) majoring in Marine Biology. We have 3 English Springer Spaniels, Walter & Mitchell and our newest pup Murray . Our family also enjoys spending time together doing archery, stand-up paddle boarding, and fly fishing. As you can see, we love water, and Iam incredibly passionate about the ocean! I like to think that we are all like seashells...all unique and beautiful with our own stories to tell!
