We will be using Benchmark Writer's Workshop. We will start with learning how to draw pictures out of shapes and labeling those pictures. We will also work on the structure of a sentence (starting with a capital letter, subject, predicate, finger spaces and punctuation). Throughout the year we will be learning how to write pattern stories, write our own stories, and sharing our opinions through our writing.
