Intervention Specialist- Reading Intervention at MHE
Hello and welcome to my website! My job at MHE involves working with small groups of students in Reading in grades K-6. I collaborate with the classroom teacher and look at student data to target instruction for each child. I truly have a passion for teaching reading and love sharing my love of reading with my students.
A Little About Me
This will be my 8th year at Mammoth Heights as an interventionist and my 22nd year of teaching! I've taught as a classroom teacher for 9 years and then the last 13 years as a reading interventionist.
I live in Roxborough (near the mountains) with my husband and two teenage girls, Kaitlyn, 19, and Mya, 16. I also have 2 dogs, Sadie, our Golden Retriever, and Nala, our rescue pup.
My favorite things to do are running, paddleboarding at Chatfield Reservoir, hiking, reading, watching movies, and spending time with my family.
