Welcome to third grade! I hope you all had an amazing summer and are ready to start our third-grade adventures together. It is going to be a great school year!

I truly love teaching and having the opportunity to work with children. Getting to know my students personally and building strong relationships is the foundation of our classroom and all our learning. Together, we will set high expectations, grow as learners, and focus on responsibility, accountability, and respect for all. I value strong parent communication and partnership, and I look forward to working with you to create a safe, engaging environment where your student loves to learn!

About Me I was born and raised here in beautiful Colorado. My wonderful husband, James, and I have two amazing children: Gwen (12) and Eric (10), as well as a new four-legged addition to our family, Cooper! We love going on new adventures as a family and watching our children grow in their extracurricular activities, including karate, competitive dance, ballet, swim, and baseball. In my free time, I love to travel, shop, read, camp, and attempt my many swings at golf.

My Experience & Contact I have been an educator since 2001. I began my teaching career in Jefferson County teaching 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades, and served as an RTI interventionist for grades 3, 5, and 6. I am so excited to be returning to Cougar Run and this wonderful community!
