My name is Hays Padrnos and I have the privilege of being your child's kindergarten teacher this year. This will be my 23rd year of teaching with 21 of those years being in first grade and kindergarten. This will also be my 10th year of teaching kindergarten at Gold Rush! 

I am one of those lucky individuals who knew what I wanted to be when I grew up from way back in first grade. I never wavered from that desire and started my teaching career straight out of The University of San Diego.  

I grew up on the coasts of Virginia and Northern California but also lived and taught first grade in Las Vegas, Nevada. When we moved to Colorado I taught kindergarten at St. Mary's Academy in Cherry Hills Village and then have worked in DCSD on and off in different capacities over the years.
