Meet Your Teacher

Hi! My name is Ivy Onouye, and I am honored to be your child’s teacher this year.   I’m excited to meet you and your children and start our year together!

Let me share a little bit about myself with you.  I have worked in education for over 20 years in early childhood and elementary education. My last 7 years have been here at Cougar Run Elementary.  My husband and 3 children made Colorado our home in 2015. All 3 of my kiddos are Cougar Run Elementary Graduates! Harrison is now at the University of Oregon, Quentin is at the University of Arizona, and Reese is at Cresthill Middle School. Our house is a little empty with the boys off at college, but our daughter keeps us on our toes! We love making the most out of our time. We spend time together traveling, playing family games and watching movies, enjoying food, and just hanging out with each other!  

I am can't wait to meet your kiddos and start our kindergarten adventure together!
