Welcome to Our Class!

This year I am looking forward to building relationships with all of you, both students and their families! We are going to learn and grow together, academically, socially and emotionally. From reading, math, science, writing and social studies to artful learning, music, PE, library and art, this year will be a fantastic one and I am excited to be sharing it with you!

Mrs. Coe's Fifth Grade

About me

My name is Jill Coe and this is my third year at Meadow View Elementary. I have previously taught preschool and Physical Education (K-6th) as well as being a substitute for Kindergarten through sixth grade. My husband and I live in Sedalia with our two children. We enjoy spending lots of time together as a family with our two dogs!

Homework Policy

Homework will not begin right away. Your student will eventually have a few math problems or a reading passage Monday-Thursday. It is an expectation that your student is reading independently 20 minutes every day at home. My goal with homework is to reinforce good study habits and to have students reading every day at home as well as school.

Resources

Below are links to various resources that we will use as a class, hopefully this makes all of our resources easily accessible.

 Contact Information

Parents, I am excited to partner with you this year to best meet your child's goals. Please feel free to contact me at any time during the year. Email is the easiest option, I will include Meadow View's phone number as well.
