Meet Mr. Jones

My name is Trevor Jones and I am so excited to be your Fifth grade teacher! I went to school in Douglas County and can't wait to continue our education journey as a classroom. This will be my fifth year at MHE and I have loved every moment of it! I graduated from Metro State University of Denver with a Bachelors degree in Human Development and a Minor in Elementary Education. I love to learn everyday along with the students and look forward to making each and every unit that we will cover engaging and meaningful!

My wife Shelby and I have been together for ten years and we have an energetic little chihuahua named Flynn! We also just welcomed our daughter Tessa to the family a little over a year ago! When I am not in the classroom I like to spend time with family and friends. I was born in California and am a huge San Diego Chargers fan! I love to cook and have always said that someday after many years of teaching I would love to travel the world learning how to cook many different cultural cuisines!
